Music Video: Shawn Kingston - Take You There
Love this song, mostly for the beat. I don't really know why a lady would want you to take her to the slums but I guess if that beat was rockin' during the trip it wouldn't be so bad. Well until ya got mugged, then I guess it would start to suck no matter what. Great video, great music, great singing, I still give it a thumbs up!
Make sure to visit his official site HERE You can hear his other great songs too!

Music Video: Fergie - Clumsy (LIVE)
This video was recorded live in studio. I really like any video where you can see some one really into what they are singing ya know! Check out the lady in the background, she looks like she is waiting for her number to come up at DMV. If I was in that studio I would be throwin' my hand in the air and jammin'. FeRgaLiCiOssS!!

Honoring All Who Served
November 11, 2007 a day to stop and donate some thought at the very least to the men and women who have served our country throughout time.
For war-veterans today is a day that we look each other in the eye and with out words we communicate a life time of higher understanding. We communicate a higher understanding of life, freedom, brotherhood, family and more. Without words we thank the other for running face first into danger by our side.
For all others it is a time to find a quiet moment to say a prayer for all who have served and their families. The commitment goes way beyond "the tour", it is a lifetime commitment for which we veterans deal with on a daily basis.
Please find a veteran today, stop them and shake their hand. Thank them for their service to our country. Thank them for the commitment they made, thank them for the burden they carry with them every day.
To get more involved please take time to visit the Department of Veterans Affairs web site. The site contains links and other great learning resources pertaining to honoring those who have served.
May we never forget!

UPI poll suggests 68 percent opposition on Iraq war
WASHINGTON, Nov. 8, A United Press International (UPI) poll released says opposition at all time high with 68% of people polled voicing their pessimism about progress in Iraq. Read the UPI story here.
Speaking as someone who has been there, I really do wish that people could see all of the good things that happen in Iraq. Not saying whether I think we should be there or not, just have a deep understanding of the slanted view the general public gets here in the United States. Does the good out weigh the bad? No, I don't think so, at least not in the immediate future but in the long run perhaps. When all you see on the news is people crying in desperation and trash and rubble in the streets I can definitely understand peoples opinions. Think for a moment about what it is like to see the look on people faces when you are giving them food, clothing, medical supplies, and a taste of what freedom is like.
I recall when I first arrived in Iraq that a lot of the local families were too scared to let their kids walk to school. The area I worked in now is fairly secure to the point where I have heard reports of how safe it is for anyone to walk the streets in that city. Unheard of when we first arrived. Absorb what you see on the news but I implore you to talk to soldiers and Marines who have been there to hear there stories. To really develop a balanced view and opinion on what is going on there you must broaden your array of sources beyond just the most mainstream news networks.
Should our men and women come home? Of course... I think they should come home now. A reorganization and new direction is something we need when it comes to the war on terror. But while we are there lets make sure to support our troops and realize they are doing many great things for the citizens of Iraq.

READ THIS: Listerine Recall
Johnson & Johnson recalled a recently launched Listerine plaque-detecting rinse marketed primarily for use by children after testing revealed contamination by microorganisms.
Johnson & Johnson is saying at this point there have been no cases of illness reported but that you should discontinue use of this product immediately. Listerine Agent Cool Blue, released in 2006, has a problem with the preservative system it uses. Over 4 million bottles of this product are included in the recall. The company also has confirmed that no other Listerine products are affected by this recall.
Read the Fox News story HERE. The official press release from Johnson & Johnson can be viewed HERE.
Recently pet food, now mouth wash! Although not the same problem, thank goodness, it does go to show that we really need to stay aware of what is going on. We get so comfortable day to day and tend to forget that not everything is safe. It does look like Johnson & Johnson did the right thing in policing itself though. Make sure you read the press release for the details, the mouth wash was Not contaminated, it just appears that the preservative used in the product is insufficient in fighting off bacteria that can build up in the bottle over time. Makes me wonder though if it can't fight bacteria sitting in the bottle, how is it supposed to fight anything in the mouth?

Pet Food Recall
If you are looking for information on the massive pet food recall here it is...
Here is a story from Fox News on the Expansion to the recall. If you are searching for "the list" of recalled pet food go to http://www.menufoods.com/recall/index.html
There is already talk of changing laws that would make you the legal Guardian of your pet. This would give your pet the same rights as your kids. Sounds great but there is also speculation that this could raise the price of pet care and different types of insurance. Do you think this is the right way to handle this? Leave a comment.

Almost done!
Just a little more tweaking and MrManUSA.com will be all done. The menus are not completely functional yet but getting there. Make sure to drop me a note and tell me what you think!
Easter is almost here and my wife and I are finishing up our plans. Normally we put on a huge egg hunt with over 3000 eggs and invite family and friends to join in. With tables full of toys and so many eggs the kids get sick of picking them up it has been quite the event. I have missed the last two due to my deployment to Iraq. This year we are toning it down and doing a very special one for our two kids. Here is a place where you can get some ideas on what you can do with your family for Easter! We have decided on having a challenging hunt for both of the kids with cool prizes to find along the way!
